Nero Dog Training is thrilled to bring you Amsterdam’s FIRST beginner friendly mantrailing course for pet dogs! **Due to exceptional demand, we have introduced a ”next level” class for those that have completed the beginners course. More details below…**
Mantrailing is an exciting scent-based activity where your dog learns to track a missing person using their unique scent. Used in search in rescue, this skill taps into your dogs natural predatory instincts, providing mental stimulation and confidence-building – it’s a fun new challenge for all ages and breeds! You will learn how to read your dog (as well as the environment) and it makes for a fantastic game of ”hide and seek!” This 4 week course covers both theory and hand-on training, giving you and your dog the skills to become an awesome search team.
What’s included in the mantrailing 4 week class:
✅ Understanding scent and how to use scent articles
✅ ”Runaway” trails, blind starts, different terrains, first turns and aged trails
✅ Real life distractions and decoys
✅ Working as as a team with your dog
✅ Certificate of attendance
- COST: €275.00* per combination of one dog and a maximum of two handlers. (Inclusive of €47.73 BTW)

The next 4 week class kicks off on: Saturday 23rd May 2026 from 11.30am – 12.30pm (class will be hosted for 4 weeks consecutively with the 4th and final class hosted on Saturday 13th June 2026. PLEASE NOTE: the 4th and final class will be hosted at an earlier time: 9.00am – 10.00am) ***OPEN!***

You’ve enjoyed completing the Nero beginners mantrailing class, so what’s next?! Get ready to take your skills to the next level with increased challenges and urban trails. You and your dog will participate in extended trails, corner challenges, dropped articles and even a ”mystery” trail…
