Puppy Training Amsterdam | English Puppy Classes 

Since 2016, Harlie has helped Amsterdam’s expat community and local dog guardians better understand their dogs through honest, practical training rooted in canine behaviour. With over a decade of experience working with hundreds of families and their dogs, she provides professional guidance tailored to the realities of everyday dog ownership in Amsterdam.

The Nero Puppy Class is a premium 5 week training course designed for real life in the city. Together, you’ll build the skills, confidence and understanding needed to start raising a confident, resilient dog who can thrive in the city’s streets, parks and everyday adventures.

Puppy Training in Amsterdam Sloterplas

The Nero Amsterdam puppy training class is designed for puppies aged 3 – 6 months of age and covers:

  • The Nero approach to raising a puppy in Amsterdam
  • Life skills and everyday manners
  • Loose leash & walking skills
  • Recall foundations
  • Socialisation & confidence building
  • Real life distractions 
  • Handling & husbandry exercises 

This is the most comprehensive young canine class in Amsterdam! All breeds, all backgrounds, all levels! Note, we welcome a maximum of 2 x handlers per puppy. 

Each handler will receive:

  • Access to The Nero Network – an online canine community of strictly Nero clients. You gain exclusive access to Nero Network discounts on future classes and workshops as well as priority enrolment.

  • A Nero Dog Training certificate of attendance upon completion

  • Saturday 5th September 2026:  9.00am – 10.00am  (PLEASE NOTE: classes will be hosted on Saturday’s for 5 weeks consecutively with the 5th and final class hosted on Saturday 3rd October 2026.) **2 SPACES LEFT!**
  • Saturday 24th October 2026:  9.00am – 10.00am  (PLEASE NOTE: classes will be hosted on Saturday’s for 5 weeks consecutively with the 5th and final class hosted on Saturday 21st November 2026.) **OPEN!**

WHERE? OUTDOOR LOCATION: On the field, Sloterplas in Amsterdam West. Exact location will be shared upon enrolment. We recommend you to read our terms and conditions.
